Tricked-out SEMA trucks for racing, cruising, or churning up mud.Whether you use a truck for work or play, Dodge will have something for you at November’s SEMA show. The company plans to unveil four 2009 Dodge Rams modified by in-house tuner Mopar. Two go fast and two go anywhere.
Ram R/T: The Quarter-Mile King
For maximum performance, Mopar’s R/T concept bolts a 4.10:1 differential and high-stall torque converter to the Ram Sport’s 5.7-liter V-8. With the addition of a performance intake and dual-exhaust system, this should be noticeably quicker than a stock Ram. Aside from the powertrain enhancements, the R/T is decked out in light blue paint with a hood made of aluminum and carbon fiber. Air suspension lowers the truck, and the lower ride height is emphasized by the R/T’s big side skirts and front splitter. Twenty-two inch wheels, a hard tonneau cover, and a Katzkin leather interior further the individualization.
