    Jaguar XF Black Pack

Jaguar has announced a new styling package for the XF. Called “Black Pack”, the package was first available on the XK model and sales were beyond expectations, almost half of the buyers choosing it. On the XF, the package features a black front grille, gloss black finish on the windows surrounds and 20-inch Draco alloy wheels and it can only be bought in combination with six colors, Polaris White, Spectrum Blue, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Lunar Grey and Liquid Silver.

“The Black Pack gives the XF a highly distinctive, very modern and a slightly edgy appearance,” said Geoff Cousins, Managing Director, Jaguar UK.

Priced from £950 (around $1,500), the Black Pack is available for 3.0-liter Diesel S, the 5.0-liter V8 and the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 XFR.

    2012 BMW 6 Series Cabrio

It looks like we have a lot of news regarding movies today. After a little earlier we told you about the GT-R from The Fast and The Furious being illegally imported, now we have something else. According to our friends from BMW Blog, the next generation BMW 6 Series will be driven by Tom Cruise in the upcoming “Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol” movie, which is scheduled to be released in December 2011. With the new 6 Series debuting in the summer, it looks like the movie will be a perfect opportunity for BMW to get their new model promoted.

The crew is currently filming in Dubai and the UK and it seems that Tom Cruise got a private introduction to the new 6 Series at the BMW headquarters in Munich.

Former O.C. deputy accused of illegally importing GT-Rs, including “The fast and the furious” car

Nissan Skyline GT-R Fast and Furios

According to LA Times, Daryl Alison, a 45 year old former Orange County sheriff's deputy is currently being charged with illegally importing $450,000 worth of Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, including the one driven by Paul Walker in “The Fast and The Furious” movies. Not produced in the United States, the cars don’t meet the current US regulations regarding safety and environment and both Alison and his employer, Kaizo Industries failed to file the required paperwork for the vehicles.

According to investigators’ reports, the cars came into the United States in two shipments (one included the body and the other the drive-train) and “After arriving at Kaizo's warehouse, several of the car bodies were then mated back with their original drive-trains and sold to the public,” ICE officials said in a statement.

“The defendants allegedly put bogus 17-digit Vehicle Identification Numbers on the cars in place of the actual Nissan VIN plate,” the statement read. “To avoid California's stricter registration and emission requirements, many of the cars were registered out of the state and sold to California residents with Florida and Arizona plates.”
